Fava, now in its 13th year is owned by Jeff and Maryellen Kaye. This cozy restaurant is carved into granite walls that once housed the Needham Center railroad station. Fava is among a growing list of restaurants that have in very recent years brought a higher level of cuisine to Boston's near suburbs. Fava aims at delivering something more than the "good food at good prices" a theme that has become predominant among little restaurants in downtown bedroom communities around Boston. For all its pleasing upscale trappings, it exudes the welcoming air of a neighborhood place.
When you enter Fava, Chef/Owner Jeff Kaye and Sous Chef Josh Mayo are in the open kitchen on the right and beyond is the glow of the dining room with candle-lit tables and an atmosphere of cozy elegance.
Join us Tues.-Thurs. for our Chefs Choice $35.00 prix fixe menu.
