The Pillars located near the Government Street and Airport Boulevard split, specializes in USDA Prime Steaks, Fresh Seafood, and Live Maine Lobster. Chef Matt Shipp, graduate of The Culinary Institute of America and his wife Regina have created a menu and atmosphere in a historic 1904 mansion which is considered the best on the Gulf coast. Some of the Pillars signature dishes are Stilton Stuffed Filet with Lump Crab and Brandy Butter, Snapper Ponchatrain, Black Sesame Ahi Tuna Tasso Baked Oysters, Pepper Fried Shrimp w/Three Pepper Glace, New style Sashimi, and Sushi.
